A group of caricature artists from around the world have been participating in a January challenged called #caricatureresolution2017. A master list has been compiled and the idea is that we each draw a different celebrity each day of the month. I’m using this challenge as a way to experiment with some new techniques and ideas. Some days I have more time to spend on drawings than others.

I’ve had a few really fun holiday parties fill my December weekends. Here are some of my favorite live drawings from this month.

At this year’s International Society of Caricature Artists convention, I completed 10 drawings for my wall. My goal was to work in a wide variety of styles and keep it fun. Here they are!

This year I managed to stay in the top 3 for the World’s Fastest Caricaturist competition at the International Society of Caricature Artists Convention hosted in Chandler, AZ from Nov. 13-19 2016. Big congrats to Adam Pate who took 1st place!

This was my submission for the International Society of Caricature Artists Convention that just took place from November 13-18th in Chandler, AZ. I’m such a big fan of Silicon Valley, I couldn’t resist caricaturing their faces! Original Image is 14″ x 18″.
