I was glad to be part of this crazy international Seinfeld-inspired art + film parody project created by Matt Adams. Over the past 5 years, Matt collaborated individually with 167 different artists from 55 countries to bring this project to life. In total, there are over 250 illustrations.

I’m super honored to have my drawing of the cast of Wednesday as part of the Nigaoe Expo exhibit currently on display at the base of Tokyo Skytree Tower in Japan. Nigaoe (似顔絵) refers to Japanese caricatures or portraits. The exhibit features work from 10 award-winning international artists, highlighting some of the world’s top leaders and entertainers through caricature. I’m one of three artists representing the United States.
Thank you so much to Kage Nakanishi and the Japan Portrait Artists Association for curating this event and having my artwork as a part of it!
Last week marked the 10th annual KOSCA Caricature Convention, hosted by the Korean Society of Caricature Artists in Seoul. The week was a vibrant celebration of international talent and artistic exchange. The event featured two speakers: 2025 Golden Nosey winner Seulki Ahn and multiple award-winning ISCA Board Member Kelly O’Brien. One hundred artists from around the world competed, representing Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Mongolia, Germany, Russia, and the United States. After a Likeness Competition, a Live Caricature Tournament and three full days of drawing, artists cast their votes and awards were presented. A huge congratulations to all of the winners and especially to this year’s Artist of the Year, Masashi Higashitani of Japan!
Below was my wall of drawings from this year’s KOSCA.
2026 marked the 10th anniversary of the annual Caricature Resolution challenge! The concept – to draw a caricature each day for the month of January from the official prompt list.
I had a lovely evening at ISCAcon34 signing Drawing Influence with my foreword author, John Musker (The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, Moana)! There are still a few copies left that you can purchase, signed by both myself and John! Head over to drawinginfluence.com
Incredibly honored to win first place in “Best Studio Piece” this year for my drawing of Ray Charles. Standing in excellent company with Darren Kennedy and Valta Klints who placed 3rd and 2nd, respectively.
I had a blast doing an interview all about caricature with Alex Spalding for “Behind the Big Head”!
Listen to me talk about the history of International Society of Caricature Artists*, share some of my studio work, talk caricature theory and give some tips for those just beginning in their caricature journey.
*Note a small correction/clarification to my ISCA history lesson: The National Caricaturist Network began in 1989 and the first conference was in 1991. In 2009, ISCA officially changed its name from the National Caricaturist Network to the International Society of Caricature Artists.
