This year I managed to stay in the top 3 for the World’s Fastest Caricaturist competition at the International Society of Caricature Artists Convention hosted in Chandler, AZ from Nov. 13-19 2016. Big congrats to Adam Pate who took 1st place!

This was my submission for the International Society of Caricature Artists Convention that just took place from November 13-18th in Chandler, AZ. I’m such a big fan of Silicon Valley, I couldn’t resist caricaturing their faces! Original Image is 14″ x 18″.

I’ve been drawing throughout the summer at parties and county fairs. Here’s a small sample from the past few months.

I just returned home from the 24th annual International Society of Caricature Artists Convention and Competition held in Sandusky, Ohio. Every year, for one week, caricaturists from around the world gather in a hotel ballroom and draw each other for four days straight. There are workshops, guest speakers and many competitions for the opportunity to take home a trophy.

This year, I was thrilled to win first place in the Speed Competition for the title of World’s Fastest Caricaturist! I also had a blast pushing myself and trying out a variety of drawing styles for my competition wall. Here are some images of my wall and subjects.
